More Brickwork Projects
The brick façade of the multi-residential building ensemble by Buzzi studio d’architettura features a 3-dimensional open stretcher bond. The 3’425 square metre large façade consist of 87’382 bricks and was produced in 707 single non-standard panel elements.
BrickDesign and our robotic brickwork technology was applied to design and manufacture the so called Manchester City Community Wall, marking the entrance of the Club’s Football Academy.
With their randomly protruding bricks, the interior brick walls of the MPI ArtLab function as an acoustic diffuser. The multi-purpose event location was specifically designed to host behavioral and physiological studies in the field of the aesthetic evaluation of music.
The new facade for the headquarter of the brick manufacturer Keller in Pfungen by Gramazio Kohler Architects is a freestanding, self-supporting construction of robotically assembled bricks in front of a steel-glass facade.
